2 November 2016

Mt Buller has added another huge name to the program for the third annual Australian Mountain Bike Summit, with LIV Ladies AllRide Director Lindsey Voreis heading from the USA to Australia for the event on 5-6 December.

Voreis runs women’s-only mountain bike clinics across the globe, sharing her passion for growing the presence of women in mountain bike communities through her unique style of inspiring women to take their confidence, riding and lifestyle to the next level. As a keynote speaker at the Summit, Voreis will share her experience and knowledge on growing women’s involvement in mountain biking, and give practical advice to delegates on what they can do to inspire women to get into mountain biking.

The two-day Australian Mountain Bike Summit will feature a number of local and international mountain biking experts, including:

  • Glen Jacobs, Director of World Trail
  • Lindsey Voreis, Director of Ladies AllRide (USA)
  • Mountain Bike Australia
  • Andrew Liddawi, founder of Break the Boundary
  • Tim Watson, GM of Dorset Council (Blue Derby)
  • Simon French, Director of Dirt Art
  • Sam Mutimer, Director of Think Tank Social

Covering MC duties will be renowned cycling commentator, SBS journalist and host of The Bike Lane, Matt Keenan.

Mt Buller Resort Management’s Group Marketing Manager, Gillian Dobson, is thrilled to have Lindsey Voreis join the line-up of inspirational speakers. “We are very excited to welcome Lindsey Voreis to Mt Buller for the Australian Mountain Bike Summit. Lindsey has created a unique and inspirational series of mountain bike clinics in the USA and across the world that aims to change women’s lives through mountain biking, giving them confidence on and off the bike.

“We are also thrilled to announce that Lindsey will share her skills with a group of very lucky women – she’ll be running a clinic on our season opening weekend on Sunday 4 December, just prior to the Summit. This is a very special opportunity to take part in Australia’s first Ladies AllRide clinic and share Lindsey’s infectious attitude and passion for helping women take their riding and confidence to the next level.”
